Description
My very first painting done in traditional Chinese style. Those few days I had no access to the computer so this is what I did
I'll be doing a few of these Chinese-styled paintings to be given away as gifts. I'm not really pleased with how this turned out, I think it could have been better. There's another Chinese painting in progress now, I'll try to finish it up A.S.A.P. and post it here >.<Comments are welcome, especially comments on how to improve my Chinese-styled paintings.

Wow. I don't think that is bad at all! I can't even do a painting of any kind half as well. To me, the Chinese words are the most interesting, though. I'm so-so at Chinese, but I want to figure this out.
So the pronounciation is:
ying2 chun1 hua1 kai1
xi3 ying2 ying2
fu2 man3 men2
Literally translated, it means:
Winter jasmine opens
Pleased
Luck-filled door

Really? Lol, i'm not good with writing chinese characters using a chinese brush, so the chinese characters are actually written with artline pen XD shhh...

d words r read from right 2 left. A rough translation would be 'spring flowers bloom, cheer and prosperity comes'. My mother thought up that phrase by the way. My command of Chinese isn't very good
