Sorry zim, humans are very fragile they can not survive such a fall...
I do not know how zim will react but what I saw in Mopiness of Doom. Zim reacts badly to the separation with Dib because he could not of enemy. Zim needs an enemy to do evil (yes if he has no enemy, he can finally control the land but you know Zim, it is not logical) to have an enemy makes him feel dangerous, while that no ennemie is as if it is nothing and it is also less fun. In short, it's useless to be a bad guy if he does not have a hero. as in the movie '' Megaman ''

He would attempt, in vain, to celebrate his ultimate victory over the Dib, and probably stand around awkwardly waiting either for Dib to miraculously be alive so the rivalry can continue or for someone else to take his place, neither of which will happen. In the end I fully expect he would take Dib's dead body back to base and isolate himself in a laboratory, painstakingly reconstructing the damaged carcass until Dib could be jumpstarted back to life.
Zim can't stand not having Dib around to foil and be foiled by. Ironically it's the only genuinely positive thing Zim has going in his entire life, besides working for the Tallest of course, but he's not so stupid that he doesn't realize they despise him. Losing Dib would make it all pointless again.
