Nice job. The rippling throat came out pretty good, if a bit shaky.

Thecheese01 In reply to TheTsavo [2009-05-20 02:58:54 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. And yeah, the reason why the throat came out a bit weird is because I had to actually change the X and Y scale values of the throat to make it bulge. This unfortunately moves the head forwards and back as the values increase and decrease.

Bummer. So hard to find good models that are rigged propoperly for swallowing.

Yep. And it's not made any easier by the fact that I use a Mac. So many things - even with Daz - are PC exclusive.

Yeah, the computer labs at my campus all use Macs and I can tell you that trying to do anything with Maya on a Mac is a pretty big pain.

Actually, I have the Mac version of Maya. It is a major pain. I've done some basic work with it and am hoping to take some online courses in the future, but for now I think I'll be sticking with Daz.

Yeah, Maya isn't the kind of program you can jump into without instruction. It'll kick your ass, and then crash on you just to be certain lol.

Thanks. The traveling throat bulge looks a little weird, but I hope it came out ok in the end.
