Description
This is one of the casts made off my original life-size sculpture, modeled after my ball python (who was then approx 1 year old). Sculpture measures approximately 5" across, 2.5" tall. This one I named "Angelique" after the beautiful pink and peach colored tulip flowers that bear the same name.

The original was hand-sculpted in Super Sculpey clay, then given scale details by hand, one by one, with modified coffee straw. (I spent 10 hours doing just this part- I timed myself). Mold made using latex rubber, cast in durable gypsum stone. Handpainted with acrylics, given a clear-coat sealant for a light, realistic shine to the scales. Hand painted "albino" glass eyes make her look super realistic.

Note: I still have a few *unfinished* casts available to those who may be interested in painting your own. Each comes with a pair of glass eyes, black or red pupils, that can be hand painted in your choice of colors. $25 plus shipping costs. Painted snakes also available.
