i have elements 5.0 at home and at school i can use the cs2 version that will be upgraded to cs3..? or 4 :3 i'm really bad with using the cs2 version though Dx i dont know how to use the pen tool

You have CS2 at school? Hehe, cool, we don't have that at mine. And the pen tool is easy once you get used to it, I think there are some tutorials here on DA you can use to help.

Hair is really easy for me, clothes not so much. Whenever I do either, I always make a very light outline of i so I know the basic shape of how I want it, then I draw in details.
I'm not sure if that helped, but I hope so. Thank you again, good luck with yuor art!
