The other main character of the Sweeper story. I need to get better at humans and also learn how to draw black hair. |D I tried giving him anime eyes originally, but my only other picture of him does not have anime eyes so it looked off. welp maybe one day Tamba will be able to have the anime eyes he deserves.

Abilities: Sign language, can play the tambourine, and can fight with a broom (eventually).

Likes: Music, playing the tambourine, fast food, action movies, reading, cats, computers, and salty foods.

Dislikes: People who hurt his friends, violence, ghosts, and sour foods.

Personality: While occasionally a bit snarky, Tamba is rather kind. He's very loyal to his friends and not afraid to stand up for them. He's a little more down-to-earth than his friend Seville and is often skeptical that their latest plan will work, but his faith in his friend often leads him to believe in them both. At first, Tamba was too terrified to join Seville in fighting criminals directly, but eventually gains the courage to fight alongside him. He loves to share his music with others. He's not fond of ghost stories and dislikes going anywhere with a reputation for being haunted.

Home: Mazen City

History: Tamba was born and raised in Mazen City. As a child, he had a strong interest in music and learned how to play many instruments, his favorite being the tambourine. He also learned sign language at a young age due to having a deaf family member. At some point as a teen, he met and befriended Seville, and Tamba's life changed forever.

Current Bio: Tamba currently helps Seville fight crime, mostly by gathering information. Eventually, he learns how to fight with a broom himself and directly helps Seville fight criminals. He is slowly going deaf in one ear.

Meta-History: Tamba was created in 2015, possibly late 2014 during my senior year of high school. During that time, I was challenging myself to come up with a story without any kind of fantasy or science fiction elements (especially since Sweeper's sister story, Galactic Sugar Rush, is one of my weirder stories). Sweeper was the result of this idea, and I ended up drawing the main characters once digitally Tamba And Seville Anyways, a friend had told me that I should make a trans character so I decided to make the other main character of the Sweeper story a trans boy. Tamba is short for Tambourine. Why? Well, once a band kid always a band kid. idk I liked the name I guess and thought that "Tamba" would be a good nickname. According to my original story notes, Tamba is a teenage runaway, but idk if I want that element to remain in the story. Apparently I also planned for him to have a ponytail, but I've never drawn him with one, but I honestly don't think he needs one. Also according to my notes, Tamba is slowly going deaf, but possibly only in one ear. Again, his age being 12-14 is kinda improbable but it's fiction.

Relationships with other characters:

Tamba: Over the course of the story, Tamba and Seville become best friends. The two are very close.
