So I am often asked about the influence that studio Ghibli has on some of my work.

I still remember as if it was yesterday the first time, many years ago when I saw Laputa.

It was like nothing I had seen before and completely blow me away!!

That was the moment I became a Ghibli fan and have loved all the movies that the incredible people at the studio have given us.

I’ve not really done much “fan art”, there always seems to so many of my own ideas and work to get on with, but I have to admit it was great fun and very relaxing to produce this Mononoke image so when time allows it would be fun to do more “Inker does” images of some of the characters that have inspired me over the years!
