I have issues with the design of their cutie marks. First off, why of all things, are they shaped like emblems??? They feel too rigid, and didn't really reflect the playful and 'unseriousness' of the CMC's.Complaints about cutie marks aside, I <3 this episode. Oh the feels.

They don't reflect their unseriousness and playfulness because THAT is not the trait it gives them. It's more of a reward for understanding the real reason for their friendship, as well as the real destiny of the crusaders as a whole. In fac, it reflects on them commiting to their new goal of making everypony's cutie marks to shine (when DT stopped being pushed around by her mother and found another way, her cutie mark began to shine).

Yeah. It was a really touching episode and I think what the meaning behind the CMCs cutie marks fits what the three have been doing so naturally all along..you know, helping others find their purpose. I just find the design kinda..lacklustre? Don't know, perfectionist in me talking here

I would had made it silver medals or maybe patches with the outline of the CMC signs, like the ones on their capes and flag.
