He's a sly, mysterious, and subtly threatening dude, who, through extensive research, found out his biological father was Sly Cooper, The infamous thief. After finding that out, Mercer ended up with a deep resentment. Of what, you may ask, well, everything. He lost his trust in his mother, despised the man he thought was his father, grew more and more hateful of the law.

He became a rogue agent without his parents even noticing. Now that he's established himself as a threat, they definitely notice.

He's a fence and researcher for Loretta, if only so he could get his hands on the Thievious Raccoonus, which he feels fully entitled to. He'll become the greatest criminal the world has ever seen.
