Yay - this is a perfect duckling shot. They are intrepid and fierce with an amazing will to live. I have seen ducklings chase adult male ducks away from a food source. The clarity of focus is excellent and the little wing outstretched - just a wonderful shot.

want to capture one sprinting across the water!!!! when they get scared they scoot off like pebbles skimming across the surface, yacking as they go.

Cheers!!!!! been a great year so far, this is a shot i've allways wanted to capture over the years. seen it a few times but never in a position to capture it properly either range/angle/light etc etc. well luck was with me this morning as everything fell into place even me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A family was watching it to and heard me rattle some off and asked if i had got it, i dont like looking at what i capture on the camera so i let him have a look and break the news i captured it. A fantastic morning i'll say
