[NEXT ] - [FIRST ] - [PREVIOUS ]I finally did it! I am making a multiple-page comic. This series will be about 15-20 pages long, and it will follow Sonic and Metal on their date across Carnival Night Zone.
While Iron Oxide is very serious and full of physics, this series will instead be humorous and fluffy. It's also going to follow the opposite schedule of Iron Oxide, so new pages will be posted on the 8th and 23rd.On a side note, this page was like the Murphy's law of comic pages. Every draft of the script was terrible, and I had to rearrange the panel layout like 8 times. The colors also turned out weird and dark, but I'm just going to post it now. Perfection is the enemy of done, and learning is what is important anyway.

He jumped out of the building he was stuck inside. I can see how it's a little unclear which way he's going, but he, Metal, and Sonic EXE are all stuck inside the building, so he escaped with the window.

Thank you! I sure hope it is. These longer comics are a hard mix of both writing and drawing. My biggest worry is my ability to draw backgrounds, but I figure this will be good practice!

Ahhh man, backgrounds can be a real butt to deal with in particular.. if I know what I'm going for it, isn't so bad, but still very time consuming, however I often don't have any ideas for them and so it takes a lot longer to figure out. ;v;' I wish you luck with it all, I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes!!Β

Not to mention, for the bigger, detailed ones, it's so hard to get the perspective right and get everything to scale. D: I really wish I had more time to sit down and do some dedicated practice for perspective and such, but I work full time and barely have any free time left over. D:
