I'm no art critic, but I think this is one of my favorite pictures of Meta Knight I've seen on DA so far- and I've been looking up pics of him for a year O.o I'd hang this up in my room as a poster. No lie.
The sky is gorgeous- the clouds look real...and while Meta Knight himself looks really nice (I love the shading on his cape) I really really like the way you drew the grass! 
This is an epic drawing and you win.

maybe add a lil tidbit of orange light on the highlights on his armor? just to balance the shiny tones out a lil bit since not all of its that magenta-ish color

Well since you requested a critique for this picture, I might as well. I'll try the best I can!
Its like, when I first look at your gallery, this stands out the most. Its like "Wazzammm, look at me world!" Because its really colorful I can tell you that xD I like it. But, that is kind of the problem there, I'm not sure what he is at. The background looks odd, I'm not sure a sunset or what your trying to do is really that magenta or hot pink. The light you used for lightning looks strange as well, what is it, the sun or a bright star or something else thats bright. Because it looks like you were going for a sunset and it does not look like much of a sunset, sorry.
I liked how you did Metaknight there, he looks like he could be real. But you should ease up the lightning there, he could be a christmas light! xD Even though his armor can be shiny because its made out of metal...But I don't think his cape should be super bright since its made out of leather or something.
You should put more grass where he is at on the field better than just behind him, because it just looks like the field of grass ended and its just bare dirt right there, unless that is what your going for. (Oh I also noticed that the bottom of his cape when he is touching the grass is a lil light, I don't think grass reflects that much light, just saying!)
Even if I pointed out a lot of things, I like this picture still. I like how he is looking a lil realistic looking (like I said before) and the lights and smoke in the background like he had a long walk from a war...lol that is what the theme for this picture is about of course, silly me. .u.
If I had to rate this, I would give it a four. Lovely job :> I hope I helped a bit ;
