You know, no matter how much shit Star Trek Nemesis gets, that battle was awesome! You see the most of the Enterprise-E compared to the previous two films! Awesome eye candy! Great job, Bud! Keep it up!

Man, that movie could have been so much better if they would have actually let Patrick Stewart be awesome and play his own clone.

If they had perfected de-aging tech back then, they could have done it.

What does that have to do with anything?

Shinzon is supposed to look like a younger Picard. So if the de-aging tech (as seen in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and X-Men 3) were ready back then, Patric Stewart could have indeed played Shinzon.

Why not make him just as old as Picard?

That's a good question for the script writers

I have to agree. Then again, I think Tom Hardy wasn't all too bad either.

Firing blind, a great way to burn out your phasers but what else can you do?

Gas...remember the modified torpedo from Star Trek 6?
Why those never became standard issue, I don't know.

I believe it was because the plasma "gas" issue was fixed really fast on the later ships and the Scimitar had the PERFECT cloak (as in can't detect anything captain) so yeah... Probably wouldn't have worked anyways, that thing had shields while cloak. Plus Shizon was playing with Picard.

or that's how the script went---then again Shinzon's biggest mistake was messing with Troi's head.

Eh I was going on the I universe reason, but yeah never mess with a woman's mind, especially when said woman is telepathic.
Okay she correctly know as a empath, same freaking deal.

This is... one scene in the movie I didn't like too much - while it was awesome looking, it was impossibly lucky that the scimitar just HAPPENED to be on that same plane of elevation as they were... I mean, it's space.
Now, if they had done a 360* full spherical spread, that would have been more likely... though way more consuming on power I'm sure Especially considering this entire battle happened with the Ent-E having no main power from her warp core (first few hits knocked it out)... entire thing was done on redundant backup systems, which is hella impressive

Very true lol. It's one of the things I loved about the new BattleStar Galactica and Babylon 5...
OH, what? There's an enemy behind me?
*flips over, blows him away, flips back and keeps flying*
Not anymore!

For me, the TNG movies are non-canon.

Eh, doesn't surprise me. I still consider them canon, although B4 should have had a bigger part in the books. He's mentioned in a few then he and Geordi are in one I didn't read, so idk what actually happens to him. I just want Data back.

That's one of my favorite scenes in Star Trek. When the Enterprise E basically pulled a carpet bomb space maneuver by firing everything at once.

And then the year after the Shinzon Incident He was no longer a unique Starfleet officer because of Korban from Star Trek Elite Force II.

Well games aren't considered cannon then neither are books. It was a good game though, I still have my original copy.
