I always loved that little transition of the intro, made me think it was like a visual symbolization of how quickly they went from being in familiar space to the Delta quadrant in the blink of an eye....

Not screen-accurate though... the textures on the CGI model weren't complete when they made the title sequence and if you look very carefully you can see that the warp core release hatches on the underside are blank during the shot where it swings by the camera and jumps to warp
