Finally scanned this. It's a bit faded now though. I was TAing a sophomore drawing class...The students were griping about an assignment where they had to do some reference sketching and then composite the sketches into a fantastical perspective drawing. So I decided to do the assignment alongside 'em.

Yeah any time you do perspective drawings things are going to get wonky as you reach the edges. It's cause we actually see things fisheyed. So things curve as they reach the edges to... look right.
Perspective is useful for figuring things out and getting a basic grasp of how things work, but once you've got that down, it's more about eyeballing and making it look right, using your knowledge of perspective, rather than by adhering to some sort of grid system.

yeah.....
I know the whole equation for making an image in 1 2 and 3 dimension perspective..... not 4 yet, working on it..... but the fish eye lens perspective (im a film maker.... or wish i was a good one) so I know what that is, and it is hard to do.....
What kind of training have you gone through?
How many years of training did you suffer through?!
