I love this SO MUCH that words just can't express!
Poor Tama looks so sad and alone, even just seen from behind. Such a contrast to the idyllic beach scene, too. It's no vacation for him, it's a curse. Poor boy. Yet he's still got that antenna dipped in the water, hoping to sense something better coming by. <3 <3 <3

And yeah, just as I said to Glowworm, I wanted to try to express his feelings even though we can't see his face and even though the setting looks so idyllic and peaceful. It's just another nail in the coffin for poor Tamatoa. I hope I could convey that in this drawing!
(I also hope that your vacation to Fiji will be on a happier note than in this picture, haha!)

I was hoping you would post this beautiful artwork here. The poor guy looks so frustrated and sad, even though we can only see the back of him. Also, the fanfic is so good--and rather depressing. Love the little reflection of wanting to one day come up with a song about his radiance.
