My mom wanted to commission me (just a tad awkward) and draw her as, how she says "one of my animal people" lol shes so cute. Love you mom!So here it is. She gave me a setting and as far as her character she gave me complete play.

It's a really great picture, this one! The use of coloured outlines and blur in the background goes real well with the black outlines of the characters. The poses and angles are good too, it gives a sense of laid-back chat and good atmosphere.
I think that one on the left should have a thicker neck. In comparison to the rest of it it the neck looks very skinny.
Maybe you could thicken up the Siamese cat's belly a little too? Not much as siamese are very lanky cats (right?) but just to make her seem a little more human. (oid.)

Thanks for the crit! Nah your not spamming me lol I love to hear what you think! The Tom cat, I had played around with his lines for a while. And his neck I think is okay cause his hair is in the way, plus you are looking from the back. Mom (the Siamese) , yeah shes a bit skinny, but I was playing with her as well. And ..well...my mom is skinny lol Skinny and short. Plus Siamese cats are petite and thin. I had wanted to exagerate that just a tad. But I will pay attention with these things in later pictures! Thanks!

The feline on the left is lacking in features a bit. I see he's not a main character, but his colours arent very detailed. Infact, he looks like a chocolate cat...
I love the way your 'Mom' is drawn in this. It's so elegant and femenine, and you've even put detail into the way she's holding a cigarette. However, the right eye is a little odd with the fact that it's painted almost onto her fringe, which looks a little out of place. It would be better if the hair was slightly covering the eye, or just beside it.
Overall though, I love this picture. The details, the atmosphere, and the fact that you made it for your mom. (Even if it was a comission e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Yeah, I had tried hard to make the Tom Cat stand out in certain ways but I did not want him to be the main center of attention. Dont know if that makes sense O.o She had wanted him dark, but not black so I was kind of in a corner for colors a bit. But yeah he does look like chocolate huh?

Awesome lighting in this, especially the tv glow against the smokey bar. I'd feel creeped out to draw my mom, especially as anthro. But the drawing is really good.
