I remember in German class in high school having to learn how to instruct someone on using a payphone and I was like "when will I ever need this holy hecck"

A few months ago I was at a state park that was shut down for the season (long story) and found a payphone by the lake. I got really excited when I picked it up and heard a dial tone. I probably hadn't heard that sound in years. I think pay phones pretty much can only be found in really remote areas anymore.
