The Origin of Emma DanielsAh, the bathroom floor. Not the best place one could find themselves on a Friday night, but for Emma Daniels, it was better than the alternative. To leave was death- Or close to it. At least it was clean, the thought to herself. She had made sure of it the night before.
She took her glasses off for a moment, brushing her brown hair out of the way in the process, intending to clean them- First against her hunter green polo- Then remembered the last time she tried using that as a cleaner. "Stupid rough fabrics." she muttered, instead grabbing a small square of toilet paper. Ah, yes. Another Friday at the Video Depot. The minute she stepped out of the bathroom, she would be mobbed by customers. "Do you have the All Hallows Eve Massacre Three"? They would ask. She would inform them it would not be out until January- Hell, it had just recently left theatres. Of course, this wouldn't be good enough for them- There was obviously one sitting behind the desk somewhere with their name on it.

It's been a long time and the notes are buried...Someplace in one of my boxes. It'd take a lot of shaking the rust off to get anywhere and I've not had much luck with that sort of thing lately.

Ahh. I have a similar situation with some of my super old pre-digital work. Most of my boxes are permanently trunked novels though. The bright side though is that one of those boxes is serving as a dandy computer stand!
