Description
When I was originally drawing this, it was meant to be cute and whimsical, and I was going to name it "Gumball." When I had finished, it ended up growing up on me, and "Gumball" didn't seem to fit anymore. So, I named it "The Fallout."Zentangle was completed on standard drawing paper with a fine point sharpie. I think I am definitely going to be investing in some micron pens soon, as Sharpies are only good for about half a drawing ...

I love my micron pens. I bought the set of 6. The large nibbed ones do not get used as much so they won't have to be replaced as often. Mine last for several drawings. I use the 01 and 005 most. The key is to always cap them tightly no matter what.

Terrific, I really like your work. Just a side note, I don't know if you have Dollar General stores near you, but surely you have Wal-Mart. They both sell a pen by Pilot called Precise V5 rolling ball extra fine. I bought a set of 4 Micron pens. They work really well, but I still keep going back to my pilot. I love it. About a buck 50. The ink is very black and I've had very, very little problem with it smearing. And they last a long time. If you'll go see my gallery, you'll see some of my stuff is real intricate tiny little patterns. Just a suggestion.

I'm glad you like my work. We do have some Dollar General stores. I'll hit one up and see if I can find those pens there. I'm still in the process of trying to find the perfect one for me.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed that about Sharpies, I love the points on them but they die way too easily, I'll have to try some micron pens too. Excellent work on this one, great name too.

I've seen a lot of artists on the web using Micron pens, so I am hoping that I have good results with them. They're much more expensive than Sharpies, though. Well, initially, anyway. If it lasts longer than the Sharpie, it will be worth it.
