Description Look, guys, I’m not dead!   Lol.  Still fighting with jaw problems, but since my neck feels a lot better I figure I can try drawing more again.  I’m eager to get back to my Fire Emblem 30 Day challenge!

This was for a challenge over on theOtaku.  I partnered with Klassic over there, who will be turning this into a wallpaper next.  She wanted to do a winter-turning-to-spring theme with my character Silmei and her owl  I hope spring is here to stay now!  Just a couple days ago it was snowing here O_o

This looks so great!! I love the entire scene! Silmei's outfit is wonderful. All the folds and details are awesome. I like the tree, snow and the tulips are beautiful! All the colors and feather details in her owl are awesome!

I really want to spring to happen soon! It was so freaky to have snow last week. -.-

Me tooo.  Winter just doesn't want to leave this year.  It actually snowed a little bit here just yesterday, but thankfully it's not cold enough to stick around.

Woah this is great ! I'm glad you've been able to draw a bit more again, hope you'll get in full health soon

So about the drawing, you did an amazing job with her pose ! This is a rather tricky pose, but you've done a great job with her feet and with the folds of the outfit. It really makes the drawing "alive", way more dynamic than most of your drawings
And the elements of the background are great, they really fit with your style and are very well designed. The flowers are awfully realistic, did you referenced them or is it done purely by imagination ? o_o

Thanks so much!   I’m so glad to hear you say her pose turned out well – I spent a lot of time on that (probably too much time ), and was hoping the proportions and everything turned out alright.  I did look at some pictures of tulips to make sure I had the general appearance figured out, though I didn’t use a direct reference.  Glad you like them too – flowers have always seemed hard to draw.  Tulips weren’t so bad though

That's so gorgeous! It looks really calm and the flowers are such a happy touch I love how the background is so simple, it makes it look beautiful Oh, and nice character by the way! I love her clothes, she looks kind of mediaeval but there's something modern about her as well. Lovely work
