A trade with the lovely X-RedLemon-X ! I did the sketching and lines in SAI and for coloring and shading, I tried out Krita. Honestly? I really, really like the textures you can get with Krita!

Also, the Faenide are SUPER DUPER CUTE??? It's obscene. They're an open species belonging to ruewitch and can be found here:

Anyway, I really had fun with this, and the legs were a challenge. I was so scared I'd get them wrong! I do't usually do animal features because I am a wimp, but Red was really encouraging and so confident in my ability that it was really, really hard to not try, yanno? And I'm really pleased with how this cutie came out, though I think if I were to do this again, I'd be more attentive to any mis-strokes or any over-smoothing. Probably also I'd be a little less timid with shades and highlights, too... Yeah. Yeah, I would be.

I'm oddly proud of the base of the nearer horn, too. I couldn't replicate the effect on the other, sadly, but I'm gonna have to practice and figure it out!. >u<9

There are... sadly many flaws here, but I did my best, and I learned a lot, and if Red ever wants to trade again, I will probably have happysquees 5ever!
