Description
This, ladies and gents, if it works, may be the most potent and important weapon/tool alchemy has ever seen. Make no mistake, this is not an overstatement, for the array you see before you has infinite uses and astounding properties.
It looks awesome and swirly. It can cook a steak or mow your lawn from a distance. It can emit a beam that turns lead into gold, blows shit up, or lets you earthbend, depending on your mood. It can draw huge patterns in the air in lines of red fire. It's powered by HUMAN SOULS. What more do ya need to know? :3Β
And now, for those who want the long, fairly boring version of the explanation, this is it:
To help in my attempt to explain how it works and what it does, I think I may just from now on be calling it by its acronym, which is the PHAEGAG (FAY-gag), standing for Polymancy by the Harnessing of Ambient Ether through Grand Arcanum Geometry. Now, the more eagle-eyed among you FMA fans may have noticed that the PHAEGAG does share similar features with the Ishvalan Grand Arcanum array, and as demonstrated by the acronym, this is no mere coincidence. The PHAEGAG operates off of some of the same principles as the Grand Arcanum, the main ones being the collection of soul energy (ether) and the transmutation of soul energy into alchemical energy. The PHAEGAG does exactly as is said of it to do, in that when activated, it takes in ambient soul energy from its surroundings and concentrates it, turning it into alchemical energy in the process. This doesn't harm anyone surrounding the user, as its drawing is spread across hundreds or thousands of people, and soul energy is quite potent, so not much is needed to begin with. Also, this process of drawing in ambient energy basically kicks Equivalent Exchange square in the face and calls its mother ugly, allowing for ease of types of transmutation that are normally next to impossible.
Though, the PHAEGAG does more than this harvesting of ether, because by way of the nonagram within it, it can transmit its energy through air and empty space, and the "bumper" node at the bottom of the array directs the energy outward and forward. This forward motion of the energy can be concentrated down into something akin to a laser beam, hence the unofficial title of "Grand Arcanum Laser", and said laser should transmute anything it's pointed at. The PHAEGAG laser could also be used as an actual laser to destroy and/or explode things, or even (if the user is an advanced enough alchemist) as the physics gun is used in Garry's Mod. As you can see, the PHAEGAG can be very useful in a number of ways, such as in construction or as a weapon of war. But, there are some drawbacks; it only takes a small amount of energy from the user to start the process, and then as the array begins to power itself and become more powerful, the process becomes a positive feedback loop that must be closely monitored and regulated. The user must be careful about how much energy they're taking in, as the PHAEGAG could overload and go haywire (read: kill everything in a 100-yard radius), if they're not.
But the lovely PHAEGAG nonetheless remains a wonderfully useful array⦠So yeah, you guys, enjoy! and as always, if you like what you see, be sure to check out the rest of my page!

Well, umm... I don't really know, I just search stuff and trust whatever I find as long as it's not obviously bullshit... Most of the places I learned my alchemy from are Notshurly and the preserved tutorials of Exxos... And the main reference for this circle is an array from the Fullmetal Alchemist animes, the Ishvalan Grand Arcanum.

Welp, that's it. Everything transmutation circle is finished. Everyone go home, we're done here. Oh and someone remember to wake Frank up before you lock up. I'm not coming back to free his arse at 1AM again.

Ahahahah xD will do, Mello. And sorry about the whole ending alchemy thing... But other arrays are still cool, too! xD
