It is my belief that Sephiroth was not in fact the killer of Aeris; he was framed!Fuled by jealousy, the culprit disguised herself as a certain sword wielding bishi and killed Aeris, thereby knocking both of them off of Cloud's Love List in one foul go. Poor Sephy... the injustice that has been done to you...

Yup! You figured out the truth alright!
From that point on in the game Sephiroth was ACTUALLY Tifa! The "real" Tifa was merely a Doll being controlled by Palmer (Much like Reeves and Cait Sith). Palmer did not get killed by the truck... he survived with his leety Palmerpower!
That means *gasp* Sephiroth is still alive... i wonder where he could be... *cackles*...
