backstory:
As a young Aelirian (i'm going to refer to him as spooky for this story!) he was always taunted by his siblings because of his ability to throw his head to amuse himself. When he got older he ended up straying away from his siblings because of the taunts over the first few years; since he loved rolling his head. Spooky never left the dense forest, but he ended up wondering one day, to a pumpkin patch around the fall time; it was near Halloween. Spooky would always see people working on the pumpkin crops and would often hesitate to take a look at the pumpkin patch closer, instead of from the forest. He got very curious one day because more than just the farmers would show up to take these pumpkins away, and he would feel sad when a pumpkin was going away to get "carved", which to spooky sounded something horrible. The Aelirian would get scared when groups of people would show up and take away more of his pumpkin buddies. when the day came where for some reason, he had to show himself; he ended up walking closer toward the pumpkin patch, and noticed children and adults celebrating Halloween, by wearing costumes, which greatly amused Spooky. He loved seeing the costumes of others and loved the creativity of those who celebrated Halloween since it was so lively and gave Spooky a little happy feeling. Spooky didn't like being near people, although he was noticed by many people and they had no clue what he was. After his first experience with Halloween, he had decided to gladly watch the pumpkins grow every fall, and the joy of Halloween. He learned it was perfectly okay to be himself and to amuse himself, he would often throw his head and then retrieve it, since he didn't like human reaction. Another few years pass of not interacting with humans, and finally one day, a girl in her twenties tried to approach him one day on Halloween; since she had seen Spooky so many times on Halloween. At first when she approached him, Spooky swung his tail at her, but managed to only get her in the leg, her pants had been ripped from it, and she had some scratch marks from it. She showed no fear, and reached her hand out, to try to pet Spooky. Spooky reacted by throwing his pumpkin head at her, and she backed up a little bit, and took her hand back. Spooky was curious, and wasn't sure how that did not scare the girl away. The girl would go out of her way to visit Spooky every Halloween and find him, and after meeting him once, she wanted to feed him. She did this for a few more years, and eventually Spooky warmed up to her, but was still very uneasy around other people. Spooky would then wait for her every year to come greet him, feed him and after a while, to pet him. Spooky never went home with this girl, but would recognize her face, voice and her shape; and would wait each year patiently for her.
