Description
this is a darker alternative version of Sonic, his design takes inspiration from Sonic Exe but instead of the more "scary" parts of him. He's colder and more emotionless. he's still a good guy just not the same ever since that day.

Story Time then

Takes place during Sonic Forces

Sonic was overpowered by Eggman himself using the Phantom Ruby with its illusions.

He gets kidnapped and experimented on with the phantom ruby and it corrupts him. and turned him into this different being

He goes after the three main victims from the og exe story as his good is conflicting with the new personality. after realizing what he's become he goes after eggman for revenge which is unlike him usually.

The three are not dead they were sent to Null Space
and the mind stuff exe does are illusions in this version of the story

they did get out like how Sonic and the CAC in the Forces

They use the master emerald to somewhat nullify the effects of the phantom ruby which makes him in this cross form from his base and his X State ig

So forms

BASE:
We have the newfound base form which is the same Sonic just more aggressive and less jokes and other typical stuff. He still does it but its not as much as before.

X Boost: Basically, He powers up with Something Eggman artificially put into Sonic (Not the Phantom Ruby)

His quills crystallize when full power

Phantom Boost is the Full Power of the Phantom Ruby which was also implanted into Sonic like Infinite.
