Description
After learning SAI and seeing the greatness of it. I just had to share it with all my friends. And so I made a tutorial to show them even more of the greatness.And to also show those like me with bad hand-eye co-oridination thus bad line-art the greatness of it!
It's just THAT GREAT!
So Sai Line-Art Tutorial.
Edit: OKAY PEOPLE STOP FAVING THIS SERIOUSLY! Do you know how old this is? How badly it was written? How badly it was drawn? How bored I was for making it and how much better other tutorials out there are? I mean come on... STOP FAVING THIS!

I dont have the same Vector Tool Options for the Edit tool. Do you know why that tis?

thank you for posting this! i used it to ink this drawing and it was quick and simple, and it makes it neat and tidy! i had to use it to edit a commission and this method was actually a HUGE time-saver. thank you so much for sharing!~

Hey, uhh my Pain Tool Sai doesn't have the "line" and "curve" features D:
I really need those tools :/ Do you know how I can find them on my version? Or where to download the version you have?

for some reason when i try to change the pressure of my lines ALL of the lines change pressure. Somehow each time i select the pressure tool it automatically selects all my lines without my say in it. Baaw D:

Photoshop...is an absolute pain in my ass! We don't click! >< Even though there are millions if tuts of PS...I always find it hard but SAI is GOD!
(But I think I'm going to have to color in PS though >.> I have tons of brushes and colors there than Sai

i can tell you what number 10 (in edit mode) is for.
make a curve, for example with 3 anchor points.
now click the middle one with that tool. and you'll see. there wont be a curve anymore, it will change to a pointed one. really useful!

Hi! Thank you for the tutorial. I was wondering...are there any keyboard shortcut keys for the curve tool and edit tool or at least a toggle between tools key? I couldn't find the option in the keyboard shortcuts and couldn't figure out how the tool shift work...so i was wondering if an expert like you could share your knowledge...please?

Been using SAI since the early Beta versions. Much of my latest art in my gallery uses SAI's line tool to create a cartoon brush/pen effect. And I use SAI for coloring and shading.
