Wow, great job! You got her hair perfectly! Her eyes are great too, love the contrast of the dark against her pale skin. Minimalist style works for you. Keep it up!

hehe yup like you noticed in the WIP I started off darker but then was like "hmmm...nah i love the whole bright light thing going on"
It's weird though...as you know I've always got some movie or music on in the background when I'm drawing, and my niece was vising while I was working on this one and we watched Inception (since she had never seen it before, terrible I know!) and Shutter Island, a very odd combination with Taylor Swift haha.

Yes he is. And it's funny how similar those two movies actually are. Leo has a psycho wife and some kids he misses, then has difficulty establishing what's reality because he can't cope with it, the end. haha
What I HATE about Shutter Island though is the musical score, if you can even call it that. In every single scene, these stupid loud monotonous quarter notes just play over and over again. It's a great technique for building tension when something big bad and scary is JUST about to happen, but they overkill it and it loses any real purpose other than to be annoying. It's kinda like movies that drop the F bomb every other word and it loses its power, whereas you can have a movie that specifically gives it one use and its shock value is left intact.

I can't remember the music. I really should watch it again. I loved the cinematography, though. Very dark. I totally agree, though. When something happens every five seconds, it becomes jaded very quickly. You can't be tense every second--your butt would go numb from hovering just out of your seat! I also hate movies that use the F bomb every second. Not necessary. Like I say, if you are yelling, "F***! my shoelace is untied!" you're going overboard.
