Description
A sort of spirit, in its own way.The Yagarra is a 'monster' to some, though they are harmless unless threatened. Do not breath or live the way animals do, thrive from the sun and wooded areas. They do not eat, drink, or need any sort of nutrition except for rain and sun. They are the faces you see in tree trunks, and are born over the course of a few years from old trees, then detach from the roots closest to the trunk. Distinguishable from other spirit types by the long shield shaped masks and toes slightly resembling tree roots. Their small hands and thin arms help them to climb, as well as the tips of the tails, especially the central one, which bares two eyes. The tails are used as arms as well as weapons when needed.
All in all, simple tree spirits, on average about 5 feet tall when their legs are folded (like in the picture) and easily reach 10 feet when full grown.
Also, if you can't see in the picture, these creatures have no necks. They are composed of a pale body, and a mask suspended above the shoulders as if worn by an unseen head. When there is a need, the body can be contained inside the mask, appearing as if it is mearely a wooden mask of about 3-4 feet long.
When around, people caught unawares simply say to hear wind rustling through treetops, when there are no trees nearby and the air is still.
After drawing it, I realize he's pretty reminiscent of a Hollow from the manga Bleach by Kubotite....

Wow, Son.
The sketches are beautiful and elegantly scary. But then your description makes the creature so real. More!!!!
