His heart was pounding, his head spinning, brow furrowed in concentration, lips parted and tongue pressing forward. Noctis was everything at that moment, the feel of his shirt under clenched fists, arms circling his back, how his breaths came hard and shallow from his nose, breezing Prompto’s red, hot skin. It was becoming overwhelming, his knees buckling and threatening to give out, but the last thing Prompto wanted was to stop. Kisses to lips only was all they’d shared, never having the time to delve deeper into romantic touches, so when Noctis had parted his lips to explore the inside of Prompto’s mouth, the blond hadn’t had a moment to prepare.
But he would hold out. As Noctis’s fingers teased at the back of his shirt, Prompto only wanted this to go as far as they could go, become closer, emotionally, physically. To build that connection that could never be severed.
“Prom… Prom, I love you.” Noctis breathed, words slipping out between moans and slides of tongues.
His heart soared, tears pooling in his eyes. Noctis had never said it before… Choking back a sob, Prompto wrapped his arms around Noctis’s neck and kissed him firmly, full of earnest. And then pulled away, saliva stringing them together. Noctis blinked at him, chasing his lips eagerly. Pressing his forehead to the Prince’s, Prompto stared into the abyss of his eyes, smiling bright. “I love you too, Noct.”
