Somewhere northeast of Highway 5...good times! One of the coolest manifestations of aurora I have seen.DD! Dang!! Thank you so much everyone! When I can, I will answer some common questions here, such as....
Is this a photograph?
YES it is a photograph. It hasn't really been touched from the .raw file...One curves adjustment after a minor color correction.
Where is this?
About 50 Km from Fort Resolution on Highway 6 in the Northwest Territories, Canada.

That's just fantastic. When I first looked it took my breath away. then I took a second look and you can sort of see a phoenix rising out of the trees in that shape. Nature blows me away every single day.
