sitting by a window panechiseling a heart of jade
wondering if i have any faith
tapping rhythm of the rain
is there a voice that calls my name
beneathe the pitter-patter water fall
out comes the sun to dry the rain
piercing through the storm's remains
promising with rainbows that
we are not alone?
mannaflakes amidst the dew
what am i supposed to do?
tell me, "o" teacher of the oldest school that
we are not alone
oracle of the morrow
pervade my senses
who is this child who plays in the rain?
i cannot seem to hear his name
amidst the pitter-patter water fall

I was given a link to your page by . I'm glad as it gave me a chance to read this fine poem.
I like the lines that break the structure, the 'we are not alone' refrain, as they stand out clearly and help give context. The imagery is strong and I like the positive image of the sun drying the rain and also the child taking delight in the falling rain.
