Description
There is a phenomenon that Jazz musicians call “Woodshedding” which is when a player retreats from the world of playing gigs and locks himself in a room (or woodshed as the case may be) until he “gets it right”..or has a breakthrough in his skill/creativity level..Interestingly enough an artistic form of woodshedding is precisely what inspired this piece ; I have consciously been working on getting better as an artist and this piece represents the breakthrough – both in technique and in inspiration…

I try to wrote a bit more this time
I love the composition of that, the colors warm and golde. you follow this old line and you made a wonderful combination of the look of old oil paintings combined with new techniques. the idea of the wooden hair gives it the surreal soft touch I love without disturbing the overall harmony in the artwork.
phewww^^

Thank you kindly - I am inspired way more by painters than I am by photographers so I've never felt the need to adhere to the boundaries of "traditional" photography (or any other kind of tradition for that matter!)
