Blick stayed in the shed for the rest of his days and one day Andrew was having some happy gossip with Culdee and Wilfred then he noticed two new diesels.
Andrew: Culdee, who are those two?
Ernest came in.
Ernest: there the two new diesels the one on the left is Lily, she's number 11, the other is Vivan, she's number 12, they are kind and careful engines.

Then Gronk Rolled up with some Coal trucks.
Gronk: Hello.

Andrew: oh, hello Gronk, you look different.

Gronk: I was sent to Crewe For a complete Overhaul.

Andrew: oh, well I was just talking to my friends, the Culdee Fell Engines, they are very good friends.
Gronk then noticed the back faces.
Andrew: yeah, I don't know why they have back faces.
Culdee explained about the back faces.

Culdee: They are for helping us by looking at the track when we got backwards.

Gronk was puzzled.
Andrew: what Culdee, is trying to say is Gronk, they are not allowed to take their trains at the front, it's too dangerous, instead they push their trains and the trains watch the line for them it's when they go down that's because of the back faces, because they have automatic brakes.
Culdee then told Gronk the story of Godred's accident and Gronk was shocked.

Gronk was very young and didn't know that could happen.

until just then Ted puffed up followed by Godred and Patrick (who was red in the face)
Ernest: what happend Ted?
Ted: I nearly came off the rails, some trucks pushed me and now Patrick is made at me because the thought I did it on purpose, but every time me and Godred try to tell him, he thinks I'm lying. (looks at Patrick who was red in the face and then Patrick yelled at Ted)

Gronk chuckled and rolled away.

but what he didn't know was that Patrick was yelling at Ted.
Ted: but Patrick I didn't mean to-

2 minutes later Godred came into the shed seeing only Ted with tears in his eyes and Godred puffed up next to Ted to see what was wrong.

Ted: Patrick....yelled at (bursts into tears) me! HE YELLED AT ME! (cries very loud that it echoed across the valley.

Ted was so sad that his fire had gone out.

but still Ted had tears in his eyes.
Ted: why dose Patrick always blame me?
Culdee came in seeing Ted looking very sad

Culdee puffed over to Patrick.
Culdee: What do you have against Ted?

before Patrick could answer Ted sadly told Culdee about what happend.

Culdee: It wasn't your fault Ted.

and so the next day Culdee allowed Ted to take Catherine up the mountain but Ted was just about to couple to the front of Catherine when he remembered Godred's accident and so he coupled up to the back and they went for a short run together, Catherine smiled as she and Ted puffed along the quiet countryside but Ted was still feeling blue a little bit.

Catherine: anything the matter Ted?

Ted: nothing Catherine, just a bad day yesterday that's all.

and so after when Ted told the story about what happend between him and Patrick to Catherine, she was shocked to hear it all and felt sorry for Ted.

and so after they stopped at a station and Ted was uncoupled from the back of Catherine and then puffed up next to her to see her face.

Ted: *as he looks at the beautiful view* Catherine, I was thinking, you maybe Culdee's couch, but I was thinking, wouldn't it be relaxing if you and I stayed here and enjoyed this wonderful view that I found?
Catherine was surprised, no engine has ever done that with her before, and then she smiled at Ted with tears of joy.

Culdee was in the distance and he saw on the top of the mountain that Ted and Catherine were having a real good time.

Soon, it was time to take the train down the mountain.

after they came down the mountain Ted was so tired they the forgot to uncouple Catherine from Ted and they both slept together all night and the next day Ted rolled by with Catherine on his way to the platform where Culdee was waiting.
Ted: such a beautiful couch, I had a great time sleeping with her last night.
Catherine blushed and Culdee smiled.

Gronk: Looks like someone has a crush on a certain coach...
Gronk was dropping off some passengers.

Culdee smiled as Ted puffed away with Catherine, as Ted Stopped by a station Godred was there, he was having his automatic brakes checked.
Ted: what happend to you Godred?

Ted: oh, well we don't want you to have the same accident again.

Godred: Yah. I wouldn't have that same accident.
