Ernest: she was Godred's twin and was the Snowdon Mountain Railway's number 1, and she was named afterΒ after Laura Alice Duff Assheton-Smith, the wife of a major local landowner, and she was just as reckless just like Godred. andΒ sufferedΒ aΒ similar fate.

but suddenlyΒ Catherine derailed at a station and was hanging near a cliff on Devil's Back where Culdee was at the station with The Truck and they both say that Ted bravely held on with all his might.

Culdee Puffed down and a chain was attached to Catherine's Front to Cudlee's Front. Then Culdee began to reverse slowly.

but Catherine didn't move, but just then a rock slipped and the same rock that Culdee was on started to crumble Ted's wheels ground on the rails and then with a mighty heave Ted managed to get Culdee and Catherine to safety before the rock fell down the sloop and Ted brought Culdee and Catherine back down the mountain and to the shed, and Edward to Culdee to the Steam Works the other engines and the manager were there and he was pleased.

Ted then looked at Catherine and blushed.Β

then she did something she had never done to a mountain engine before.

Ernest: *to the manager* Sir, I was thinking, do you think we should have different paint job? because some passengers are mistaken me to be Godred and they are also mistaken Patrick to be Alaric.Β

and so the next day when Culdee came back he saw Godred puff out of the shed but he was painted red.

Culdee was speechless then Ernest came he was painted blue.
Ernest: my goodness Godred, that's some fine red you got there.

then Wilfred showed up, he was apple green, then came Shane Dooniey who was dark green, followed by Patrick who was dark purple, then came Alaric who was painted gray then Eric who was painted yellow.

and just then Catherine was being pushed gently by a bright green engine, and the engine was Ted.
Ted: oh hello, Culdee, I've taken care of Catherine while you were away.
and that's when Catherine spoke some kind words to Culdee about Ted.

Ted: she my be your couch Culdee, but I know her well too. to bad I;m stuck with Her Handel.
Culdee and Catherine knew how Ted felt, and that night Ted and Catherine where alone on the top of the mountain, and Catherine called Ted her something that he had never been called before.

Ted: uh, I think I'll just----
and that's when something romantic happend.

the next day Culdee came to the shed painted orange but all the others were still sleeping except Godred.
Godred: you look different Culdee, but in a good way.

just then Patrick came in with his couch looking very cross.

but Patrick didn't reply, his back face just watched Ted take Catherine for a run up the mountain while being careful with her.
