These are great! Especially the folder watch thing. Actually, I'd like that on some deviants too - for example if someone draws a lot of fancomics, I only want to see the fandoms I'm familiar with in my inbox.

The folder watch thing would be a VERY needed thing to have! I watch big groups and would rather want to see the good arts instead of the mediocre fanart people post to the "constructive critique" after they found out that you can post anything there.
The other options are great too, but gosh, I've been waiting for the folder watching thing for ages already. |B

Oh god YES gallery search would be wonderful. In fact, on top of that, I really REALLY wish we could search for a specific deviant within a group.

This would be incredibly useful for groups with a large amount of folders, it would also be useful to stop spamming and if you didn't wish to see something (such as there may be a yaoi, yuri or small explicit folder, or even something that is against your religious views!) you can easily avoid seeing it.

The folder watch concept can be extended to deviantART in general. It would be nice to be able to view a particular category from a specific person. On the other hand, you filter a lot of work that would otherwise be noticed and possibly liked. That's actually a huge downside which also applies to this concept in the context of a dA group, though to a lesser extent.

the best idea is about watching separate folders
some groups don't divide their folders like that though(like Mystical-Art-Club, when names of folders define rather content or atmosphere of the work...mystical, or spiritalis etc.)...but anyway it would be helpfull in many cases!
