I lol at how the example used is the DD Catalogue...and this has gotten a DD. Irony, much?

Would have been more ironic if I had used #GetDailyDeviations as the example!

With the donation pool, I think it might be possible to do within the legal and reasonable but you'll have to think it out really well. You did mention that "shared ownership" is unlikely to work, and you did solve that (or... well, I'll go into that later). But seeing as points directly represent money, I think it would also cause legal problems, because the points would be in no one's direct posession. I'm not exactly sure of the legal implications, but I think the easiest way to solve this is to make it so that it is owned by one person (I guess this should be the founder by default, and not sure if it'd be transferable), but just a separate stack from his posession, and can only be accessed from, and (like you say) used for, the group... without being transferable to the founder's private points account.
Which brings me to the second point... It would be a bit hard to determine what exactly you should be allowed to use the points for, and what would be impossible? I understand it could only be used for a super group status... which would be helpful of course for many groups but rather limiting to many others. I think points are being used for things like contest prizes just as often... I understand, this would require the ability to transfer the point to other users, which makes it vulnerable to abuse (the founder collecting points at the groupand then transferring them to himself directly or via someone else) but if the possibility doesn't exist that would mean it can only be used half of the cases... and yeah, I doubt they'd implement something that only works half the time you would want to use it
(Oh, and I think you meant "peace of mind" rather than "piece")
For the folder watch, I support the idea, but; First, why should it be limited to groups galleries in the first place?
Would be helpful in other galleries as well
Second... why is there a separate checkbox for 'all deviations', and one for different folders separately? I've seen visual suggestions for this before, and I prefer when you select "deviations", and then next to that have an option to unfold separate folders to untick (they should all be ticked by default). I think having two options for it in the watch menu would be quite confusing
Third, I think you overlooked the fact that in super groups, folders can be added, removed and updated... How would that work in the deviant's message center? Would he get a notification when a group he watches adds a new folder? And when it removes a folder he watches? etc. I think that would be worth thinking about and making visuals for too... I just don't feel it's quite complete now.
Gallery search would be good and very helpful Another way it could be implemented would be an addition to the search engine - a new command for in ~search , something like ingroup:Groupname (kinda like the commands here FAQ #577: How do I use the Search? ). Though then there'd have to be a link to that on the gallery page as well so that it's easy to find from the group itself rather than hidden away on that FAQ item only.

Donation Pool
Yes, I hadn't thought about legal issues but your solution seems to make perfect sense. I realise this concept excludes collecting points for contests, but due to the issues you mentioned I really don't think it would be possible. However, personally I think it would be worth making a widget just for Super Group donations. I can see some people may disagree.
("piece of mind" - damn!)
Folder Watch
I'm glad you support the idea. And, there is no reason it should be limited to just group galleries. It just happened to be my group that caused me to think of the idea and I think it would be particularly useful for groups as their galleries often include a lot more folders and a lot more deviations than individuals. I see what you mean about the separate checkboxes. However, I think the two systems could go together. All folders could be ticked by default, you untick the ones you don't want to watch but then if you decide you want to watch them all again you could tick "All Deviations" and this would result in the whole list becoming ticked again. I realise my visualisation doesn't look quite right for that to be the case actually. I might update it. Your third point - Yeah, something needs to be done about new folders/folder deletion. I didn't think of that. I might make an update for that also. Thanks.
Gallery Search
A new command - that's a good idea! I think that should be an addition to an actual gallery search bar rather than a replacement though.
Thank you for your such in-depth feedback. It's greatly appreciated.

You're welcome! Tell me when you update it, okay?
For the Gallery Search, yeah, the way I had it in mind, it would have a search bar on the group's gallery page, and when you enter "random word" and click 'search', it'd take you to [link] (but of course it'd work then)
