Description A tutorial for anybody who ever wanted to share their dial-spun DAZ Studio character morphs but didn't know how. I hope it helps you out!

Oh, yeah--here are links to the free software mentioned:

DAZ Studio: [link]
Poser Format Exporter: [link]
WinRAR: [link]

For fun, I'm including the morph I made while making this tutorial. Please note that his elf ears were somebody else's morph, as were his skin textures, so this just morphs the dial-spun part for his body and face. Hair and eyebrows not included--but they were all freebies, so you can get them if you like! I got the ears from the Silvermoon set on heromorph.com, and the skin textures are from the Rythen Moonwhisper set on sharecg.com.

Night Elves are from World of Wacraft, and belong to Blizzard Entertainment. This guy's just used for example purposes. Please do not redistribute this tutorial anywhere without my permission.

They aren't true INJ and REMs, but they get the desired effect, so they're nice to have. Glad the tutorial is of use to you!

Though it's not a true REM... which actually removes the channels. They could also accomplish this by zeroing the morphs...

But good tut, nonetheless. I do things the hard way, with a text editor.

Indeed, the people on DAZ's forums seem pretty grumpy about me even using "INJ" if I don't literally have injection channels added when you double-click the icon. I know it's not the literal thing, but it's almost universal for characters sets to have the "apply" button and the "remove" button for poses, map applications and everything be called "INJ" and "REM".

I would do the text editor stuff if I had a clue how...I've hunted for hours and found no clear tutorial explaining it, and looking at the text with no idea where to start boggles my mind.

It's actually not as hard as people look. You copy the inject all morphs; it shows you where all the the inj/rem delta files are. Open the pz2 you generated using daz, and this file in the japanese poser file editorm, which I use, or equivalent, and simply drag the the delta and channel files to the beginning for inj morphs and end for rems. If needed, I can write it in myself using notepad++ but it's annoying to explain.

Well I asked about the inj rem thing a while ago, that Richard guy who works for daz and helps everyone out all the time? He said for freebe's its ok to do inj rem files like this but for commercial products he'd expect the inj file to do the lot and load the morphs from zero.

But I only want to make freebies hahaha thanks heaps, ya rock!

See, now, that makes sense! This isn't supposed to be pro-quality, it's supposed to be a way to share your dial-spun character morphs and give them clickable icons so others can use them. I'm glad it'll be useful to you!

You're very welcome, glad I could be of assistance! Once you have DAZ Studio, remember to check out the DAZ 3D model store on their site--all of the human figures' bases are free, including the anime ones, Aiko and Hiro.
