Isn't it interesting how starlings have those rear-facing spikey bits in the backs of their beaks? What a brutal evolutionary adaptation!

Damn, I want to shoot this bird and you post a portrait!
I know that it's easy to shoot them but yesterday I have seen only one and he gone away quickly when I was only 20 meters

I fed a starling bread the other day. It took it from my hand, the starlings here are very tame. (Swansea, UK)
