I just realized I did a darkwing duck picture with very similar colors...When I was a kid I used to sneer at people who drew in color books and colored Mickey Mouse bright orange and pink. It's weird that I am now allergic to making stuff look like it actually does.
I was inspired by [link] to paint a bridge and some purple rocks, and [link] (by Mel Olm) to attempt leaves, and both these paintings are amazing, so go check them out!

Twilight is about five minutes after the sun sets, when there's still a bit of light to see by but it's definitely not daytime.

seriously, i get the nicest feeling in this.
it's kind of like this whole piece is a swatch of fabric with a pin sewed right in that distant light source.
i guess i mean it has excellent movement. i feel like i could grab the edges of the frame here and pull it open wide enough to just step right into.

Love the colors (duh) and also how you handled the leaves, I've been wanting to try that light-spots-on-dark thing... now I want to try it even more XD Oh yeah and the thin outlines on the plants in the foreground are awesome

I usually hate painting bushes but the tedium helped me focus today.. glad you like the outline, that was the last thing I put in and I wasn't sure if it looked weird or not
