Description
For reaching the 10k Pageviews, I decided to draw my OC pony, Leon the Unknown. I wanted to draw him a little on-sided, so I can look into his eyes. I mean both of his eyes I'm really satisfied with the result. I hope you like it too

I know... he is an Alicorn. But why? Why did I make an Alicorn?

Well it's hard to explain, but it all started befor, I even made a Deviantart, and started to "try" making arts. When I started to watch MLP, everytime I saw an episode, I always form an alternate episode, or thought about how the episode should go on, if it wouldn't ended after 20 minutes, or just simple creating a new one in my head based on my experiences. Before I realised I make a tons of short stories, and I decided to make a big one, what could connect all those small one, forming a very big, and long adventure story. For that I needed an OC. When I first though about making an OC, I wanted to make a Pegasus Pony. But when I started to put things together, and started to create his story, I realised that creating a Unicorn would be a better, because creating a story around him is more easier, because the magic user has less borders, and I could create more small stories around a Unicorn, then a Pegasus. But not to much later, when I continued "writing" his story in my head, I realised that I need an OC, who is a little more unusual, so I could create more small stories around him. That's how I came up with his red-eyes, and made him an Alicorn, but of course not an "overpowered" Alicorn, as you could read that in his story below.
So I created his story in my head....now what.... I became frusrated, because his story was just in my head. I wanted to show his story somehow. That's why I started to "draw" here on the deviantart, with 0 skill level, that's why I started to make comic, that one day, maybe if I evolve so much, that I could somehow draw his story.
Even if I know that I still to far away to draw his story, but I can tell that the time here on Deviantart gave me a lot of joy and happiness. I feared about drawing anything, with 0 skill level, but Leon, my OC, gave me the strenght, and courage to try it. Whitout Leon, I would never be here on Deviantart, and I never would draw those comics.
So I can tell, that Leon is more just an OC to me. He is my mascot, he is my bravery, he is my strenght, he is everything what I'm here on DA. Thank you Leon

His background story:

My OC Pony. He is "Leon the Unknown".

What a strange name... Leon, the Unknown, but why? Well, here is his story, and my idea about my comics series about him.

Leon lived in a very isolated place, deep in the Everfree Forest, since he was a small colt. He couldn't remember anything, where he came from, how did he ended up there, not even his real name. This recluse small place was surrounded by mountains, but he had everything to survive. There was a fountain, lot of fruit-tree, and he had a small house, too. In this small house, there wasn't too much furniture, only a small old bed, and a table. But his most valuable object was a big, old hoofwrited book, what has a lot of very useful information about how he can survive. Like, how to plant seeds, how to harvest etc.

Because of this, Leon thought, that maybe he is there for a reason, and hoped, that someday there will be somepony who will come for him.

Time just went by, but nothing happend. There was he, alone, waiting for somepony, but nopony came. Once he recognized a small cave hiding behind spiky thorn, that were hanging from the mountain's side. He felt the fresh air coming from that cave, even if he couldn't see it clearly, because the thorn was so thick. But he knew, it could be an exit. But should he really go? What is outside? What if it's dangerous, and what if, when he is outside, and in the meantime, somepony would come for him? He didn't know what to do. But then, he heard an explosion, and then he saw a rainbow passing through the sky. Because of the mountains, there wasn't much to see from the sky, but he saw the rainbow, what was the most exciting, and the most beautiful thing what he had ever seen, in his trivial life. So he decided: He would train himself, so he could survive outside from his safe home and in meantime, if nopony comes for him, then he will break out and will try to meet others.

Many years later, in Canterlot, Princess Celestia had a terrific vision, and she called the Mane6 to her.

At that time, the grow-up Leon, after nopony come from him, said goodbye, to his home, and made his way through the cave, cutting himself trough the spiked bushes. He found the exit fast, and went to the direction, where he saw the rainbow coming from.

In Canterlot, the Mane6 arrived. Celestia told them about her vision. Her vision was about the Dark Empire, ruled by the Dark Ponies. Many-Many years ago there was a big war between Equestria and the Dark Empire. After defeating the Dark Empire, nopony heard from the Dark Ponies. But now, they have returned, at least that's what Celestia saw, and wanted the Mane6, to be prepared in case the Dark Ponies appear. Twilight asked the Princess, how they can recognise a Dark Ponies. Celestia told them, that the Dark Ponys are easy to recognise: Their hair color is always white, their main mane color is black, and the most recognisable fact is: Their eye-color is always blood-red.

So Twilight and her friends went home, to warn everypony in Ponyville about the Dark Ponies, and to make some preperations.

After some journey, Leon found a road, and that road led to Ponyville. The first civilised place, what he had ever saw. He was excited, and nervous at the same time, so he took a deep breath, and walked down to Ponyville.

After Twilight organised a small emergency plan in case of the Dark Ponies, she went back to the library, where Spike told her, that he seeing a strange Pony through the telescope, approaching to Ponyville. Twilight took a look in the telescope too, and immediately recognised, that what she saw was a Dark Pony, and she immediately warned everpony in Ponyville, and immediately wrote to the Princess about the emergency.

Leon arrived in Ponyville, but the city was empty and dead. He didn't know what happened here, so he began to search the city. At the time, the Mane6, how were waiting for the Royal Guards to arrived, were watching him from a safe place. But Rainbow Dash, who wanted to take advantage from the fact, that Leon doesn't know anything, charged at him but the attacked missed, and RD went through a wall of a house. The rest of the Main6 thought, that Leon was the one, who hurt RD, so they immediately charged too, and defeated Leon easily, who didn't really wanted to fight back.

The Main6 tried to interrogate Leon about the Dark Empire in a hard way, but Leon couldn't answer. He didn't know anything, and he was scared at the same time. Fluttershy ended the interrogation, telling the others, that Leon is truly scared, because she recognised this face, the face of fear.

The Royal Guards arrived, and took Leon, without resistance, to Princess Celestia. The Mane6 went with him too.

In front of Celestia, Leon tolf thr story of his life, and that he doesn't know anything about the Dark Empire. He disn't even know his real name, but in the inner cover of his helpfull book, what he took with himself was written: Leon. That's why he called himself Leon.

Celestia belived in Leon, but feared that this was a plan from the Dark Empire too, that maybe they wanted somepony behind the enemy's border-line, so after Leon would get back his memory, he would know what to do, to cause the fall of Equestria.

Locking in Leon was a really easy way to save Equestria for sure. But on the other hoof it would be a very injustice to lock somepony in, who he didn't do anything wrong. Just being different.

So Celestia made a judicial decision: Leon has to stay in Ponyville, so that the Mane 6 can show him what Friendship is. In that case, if Leon truly becomes a good friend with the Mane 6, then if Celestia was right, and Leon truly is an impostor of the Dark Empire, then maybe he will not do anything bad, after becoming friends with the others in Ponyville. Leon was really happy, because he could finally meet with other ponies, and that was a good chance too, to make some research about the Dark Ponies.

This is where Leon's story truly begins.

With the help of the Mane6, he can learn everyhing about friendship, but not just that. He can learn social life, too, because this is new for him, too.

About Leon:

Leon is a multi-faceted character.

He is funny, because he doesn't even know the most common facts about social life. So sometime he makes questions, about the most common things. He can easily shock the others with his simpler, or embarassing questions. Like: He didn't even know, what a Cutie Mark is. He thought that those are some kind of fasion tatoos, when he first saw them. He didn't know that with horn he can use magic, but not just that, he didn't even know, that with the help of his wings, he can fly. That's why, he didn't learn to use magic, and to fly. So he is unable to use magic, and he can't fly, in spite of being an Alicorn. His friends will help him learn those things but it won't be easy, according to Twilight, because he didn't start learning those things at an early age.

He is adorable, because even the smallest things can make him very happy. Like: seeing the sky in "wide-screen", what he could never seen before. Or sleeping on a comfortable bed. So he is easy to please.

He doesn't have a Cutie-Mark. The Cutie Mark Crusaders noticed that, too. It comforts them easier to know that there is an adult pony, who doesn't have a Cutie-Mark. But it's unknown, that Dark Ponies can get a Cutie-Mark or not.

The Story will follow Leon. About what he learns about Friendship, what he learns about Social-Life. He is mostly with Twilight, because she is the one, how can teach him the most things, but he will spend time with the rest of the Mane6, too (for example: RD will help him learn how to fly).

But there are a lot of questions, that Leon want's to get an answer, but he can't get from the Mane6.

Where is he from? What happened to him? How he got to that place, he once called home? He is a Pony whitout a past. Spending time with his new friends, he will get back some memories, that makes him more curious about his past. And what if Celestia is right? What if he is just a part of a plan to take down Equestria? What if he turns evil one day, just like the Dark Ponies?
