Hello. I decided to watch the new movie Ratatouille (I love seeing fuzzy animals drawn cute, and the chubbier, the cuttier they are!). So, it was kinda hard to stayt away from this one.Besides the bulbous sofened shaped heads of the chracters and the cutness of seeing chubby rats run around, one particular chracter caught my attention like a mosquito bite---the tall, lanky, pale, dignified, Anton Ego :inlove:....
Holey Shmokes this guy is so cool to look at! His chracter design is a summ of all the elements I enjoy seeing in men in drawings and in real life.
After seeing him, I couldn't wait until the next time he would show up again! I haven't liked an animation character this much since, probably the Joker.
So, it was kinda hard to draw this out, I couldn't find more than two pictures of Anton Ego, so I kinda had to make up this portrait :sweatdrop:.
So, I will not give any movie reviews or such, I just wanted to post a fan sketch of this older dude. I like him very much

XD Thank you ^_^ I saw the movie to see the chubby brown rat (so cute!), but then I saw Ego and was like, "Holey Crap! Lookit that dude!" *eyes widen*
Back when I drew him, the movie was still in theatures and I could only find 2 images of him on the web to work from for reference XD
But yes, I think he is one of the best chracters in the movie, but a close second for me are the cute fuzzy ones (especially the chuuby brown one).

Aaah lovely. One of my favorite. Ego is one of the most creative characters. He has such a dark, turning demeanor in the beginning, but you certainly don't find any particular dislikement about him unlike some characters in other movies. And this is beautiful work of him.

I love Ego too!! He was very... awesome. To say the least. The part that I liked most about him is that he is voiced by my ultimate fave. old time actor Peter O'toole. He was Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia? I didnt know if youd know the actor.

Little factoid: Tony Jay was originally contracted with Disney, so he most likely would have been the original voice actor. He passed away recently, so the torch was passed...
