Description I recently went on a journey to the Caribbean Sea in the Yucatan's peninsula, I totally fell in love with the mayan culture and the cenotes (underground lakes) I always think of mew as a part of the pokemon mayan culture, 'cause it reminds me of the very first games and the pokemon short "the origin of mewtwo"
About the drawing, I made it in photoshop except for the jungle background. I hope you like it!!

I love the background. I have no words (at least, not that I could express properly in english) to describe how amazing it looks. And the scene it's simple gorgeous. Colors are pretty and I really loved the effect of Mew reflection on water.

Excellent work! *u*

Id love to find a secret place like that. Too bad it costs so much to lead any expedition...

It's not so expensive going to some underground lakes may cost even less than 5 dollars.
But I guess that what it really costs is to fly to Mexico.

the water reflection turned out really nice! Such a cool effect, it really anchors mew in the scene. The stones in the background are really nice as well <3 Overall excellent color useage~

Refs are the best way to go about it--it looks like it was time well spent!

I wish I could draw like this. I don't have the skills or the materials to make such beautiful art. XD I also really like the way you even rippled the "Thunderwest" in the bottom left.

Sorry I reply so late.
Thanks I wanted to make it look as if it was inside the environment.

The water looks really good and all, but the part I like is the attempts at the Mayan stone work. That takes a lot of guts, mostly since most people don't know much about them and don't bother to depict them.

I know what you talk about!! I checked out some mayan deviants  before I drew it, and I notice there are people who mistake them with Aztecs, their symbols are different but they mix them.
What it's even worse, there are some who mistake them with Indians!! (there's a girl who believes there are tigers in Mexico)!!!
