Happy Sci-Fi Halloween, y'allI had to get this out of my head, so that I could concentrate on other projects. This was inspired by ShoneGold's PixelArt Collaboration - Pile o' Pumpkins [link]
Since it's an animation and Fan Art, it really doesn't qualify for the project, but it was fun to do.

Thank you. That means a lot coming from you. I really needed to get this out of my brain. There are so many ideas that I wan to do, but so little time with the banner project.
I've really been thinking about this a lot lately. In your opinion, what can I do better with my pixeling? techniques.... exercices... I don't mean to be obnoxious, just wondering.

I'm not sure if I can be a massive help. Really, you just need to keep at it until you fall into a style.
I mean, everyone's pixel start off looking the same, same style and palette ideas.
What might help, is colouring in some line art from Pixelation or PixelJoint, they can help you think about how to apply colour, what palette you use (experiment with colours and don't be afriad to notch up a colour count) and help you step away from dithering (which is alright in moderation, but overused). Look into simple AA, it can really help smooth things out and add a touch of quality to your work.
