Part 30

Since then it was mom and I, although we did not like hunting, I knew that we had to do it in order to survive, we hunted to obtain food, we both took refuge in a cave in the forest, although it was very difficult we managed to get ahead.

Unfortunately, as the days went by, the prey we hunted became scarce, so we had to go deeper into the forest, one day we managed to get out of it, my mother and I were hungry, we had to look for something to eat and that's when we saw it. A few meters away there was a flock of sheep, my mother and I couldn't help ourselves when we saw them, we were very hungry, as if our instinct forced us to hunt, we rose up against the cattle, we didn't want to hunt them all, only two at most to be able to feed ourselves, it was easy.

We had hunted about two and we took them to our cave to eat, we were very happy but that's when everything fell on us.

While we were finishing dinner we could see in the distance a bunch of lights, they were torch lights, they were an angry mob, apparently those sheep belonged to a farmer from a rural town, everyone in that town apparently found out what What we did was that they were coming for us, my mother and I knew that we were in danger, those guys apparently knew that we were werewolves so they brought silver tools, we had to get out of there.

My mother and I, scared, ran away but those people began to follow us, they were really furious so they chased us tirelessly, we ran until we reached a dock where my mother and I came to try to hide, there was a barrel in the which we could hide but there was a problem, there was only space for one, my mother couldn't fit in, the townspeople were already very close to us so she...did what any mother would do. She put me in the barrel and looked me in her eyes.

Loki: -mommy, come on, come in!

Julie: -I can't, my love, that barrel is not big enough for both of us.

Loki: -What's going to happen now?

Julie: -Loki, my beautiful puppy, I want you to be strong, you are a great wolf, don't let anyone stop you from being happy, please, don't forget everything I have taught you, I love you, Loki.

Loki: -Mom…what are you going to do?

My mom just gave me this locket and hugged me

Julie: -goodbye my love, I will always be with you

Loki: -mommy…..don't leave me

My mother just kissed my forehead and gave me one last hug while she released my claws, I could see how the angry mob arrived at the place, mom ran and it followed her, that was the last time I saw her, running away from the mob of me, I could only see her walk away with everyone behind her, when she walked away I tried to get out but the barrel was sealed with a lid and someone took me to what I could swear was a boat, I could only see the path through the hole through a hole. which my mother fled

Loki: -Mom….MOM!!

The ship sailed and I was on board, me and without my mother.
