I actually had no troubles romancing Sebastian. I'm sorry I love that guy who gets in the way of the romance, but I love the chantry reverend mother more at that point. All she wanted was some love and peace and that moron took it out on the WRONG PEOPLE. If he's going to blow up at the simplest of provocations, I'm kicking his ass and then some.
I was really happy though to see that Sebastian wanted you to side with the mages rather than the templars. So many people equate "CHANTRY = TEMPLARS" and it's nice to see that some people are my type of Religious guy.

I didn't like the 'person' much anyways. He seemed like a bro but then he changed drastically. Besides, I really stopped caring for games, because in next play through I might keep him alive or something...It's just a game... :/

Yeah, I don't "tend" to care about games, I think about what I would believe my character would do and chart it out before actually playing, but for the first time through, there were few times when I actually cared. Always always always the family thing. Always. Man with your little brother or sister at the beginning (barely tears but they were there) and then with the killer in Act II! Auuuug I wept silently so I wouldn't wake my roommate. But I think it's because the VAs did such a good job at making it sound a little more realistic.
(Making Leandra have the Cousland Mommy Voice Actor helped with the waterworks.)
But I know what you mean! Sometimes people go all insane about it. "WAHHHH My favorite character DIED!? THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE RAGE ARG FOAM!" But then again, youth breeds passion, so I can't blame them too much.

And sadly, you can't romance Varric... I am so pissed... More so than when I was playing the first Mass Effect and Garrus wasn't an option (pre-ME2). Bioware better do something to appease the Varric fangirls. Just sayin'.
