Mona Lisa's ad: "Looking for mutant who doesn't mind being with someone who only appeared in one episode. Will come with friend from gym for safety measures."Slash's ad: "SLASH LOOKING FOR WOMAN MUTANT! SLASH KNOWS FANCY PLACE TO EAT WITH WOMAN MUTANT"
...and this is how Mona Lisa's insignificant role in the TMNT universe got even sadder. XD
This is my first time drawing some of those Archie TMNT characters and it's obvious which ones are new to me. >_>
Slash really seems just like a reskin of MNT Gaiden Raph, but oh well... it's not like the TMNTs are all that different from each other anyways.
In case you're wondering, Slash is indeed drooling, drunk, sweating and covered in warts. That's why Mona Lisa's so disgusted. XD

My only gripe is that Ninjara looks like a bored teenager, not like her bitchy, determined, tougher self as she was in the "Moon Eyes" 4-parter that wrote her out of Raph's life for an indefinite period of time. She and Raph fought the hell of a lot, and were both stubborn beyond the highest of high levels. It's what made her character likeable in the sense she was a bit like what Julie-Su is to Knuckles in Archie Sonic - a mirror facet to everything Raph is and was back then.
But it's good to see people doing their research. I haven't seen nor heard of Ninjara since her first appearance and later the "Moon Eyes" Arc that wrote her out of the comics nearly completely. I loved her as a character, she was pushy, emotional and behind the stubborness, exceptionally vulnerable.
Plus you added Ray to this whole fine mess. That's a definitive and huge plus

I knew she was that type of character, but decided to make her a typical person who does typical activities, just for this pic.
I wanted to make everyone casual. ^^
At least in the Archie comics, they wrote her off decently, as opposed to some other stories that just STOP including a character at some point (see: Shumira in Battle Angel Alita).

actually!, slash is from the original comics as well, He's from dimension X, and so he isn't considered to be a mutant. Also, he loves palm trees...a lot....and he's much more stronger then all the turltes, and bigger too, like super shredder from the second movie strong and big.

You know what sucks? Mona was in one episode, and she made a bigger impact on the TMNT's lives than Slash, and he was in a whopping TWO episodes!

The problem is not the characters, but the audience.
I guess all the fangirls were waiting for a female mutant they could pair up with their favorite TMNT...
As far as I'm concerned, Mona Lisa is lame and uninteresting while Slash is more likable and even goes through some kind of reform in the Archie comics storyline.

I've seen the episodes Mona and Slash appeared in. But I don't know Ray and Ninjara very well since I only have a volume of the Archie comic with them in it.

Ya know, I absolutely love the way you drew Mona Lisa here. She's positively adorable! Ninjara looks pretty cute, too. Ray looks like Ray and Slash looks like...hm... Kind of like that last season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where the turtles had these "super mutant" for things where they were extremely strong but pretty slow. Or something... And they couldn't control when they transformed. I obviously stopped watching the series well beyond that point.

Mirage comics has been publishing those Cowboys of Moo Mesa/TMNT crossovers in the last few months. I don't like cowboys with my TMNT. I REALLY don't, even if it's a comic.
