Mona Lisa's ad: "Looking for mutant who doesn't mind being with someone who only appeared in one episode. Will come with friend from gym for safety measures."Slash's ad: "SLASH LOOKING FOR WOMAN MUTANT! SLASH KNOWS FANCY PLACE TO EAT WITH WOMAN MUTANT"
...and this is how Mona Lisa's insignificant role in the TMNT universe got even sadder. XD
This is my first time drawing some of those Archie TMNT characters and it's obvious which ones are new to me. >_>
Slash really seems just like a reskin of MNT Gaiden Raph, but oh well... it's not like the TMNTs are all that different from each other anyways.
In case you're wondering, Slash is indeed drooling, drunk, sweating and covered in warts. That's why Mona Lisa's so disgusted. XD

This pairing was so badly handled in the old show that I can't picture Raph reacting at all to this.
Remember that at the end of Mona Lisa's only episode (and only appearance), she was just like "O HAI!! IM IN UR SEWERZ GIVING U PIZZA!!" and never appeared again.
Either Raph hated the pizza she gave him or Mona Lisa realized that living in the sewers is not very sanitary.

They're both from the Archie comics.
On the left is Ninjara, who was Raphael's love interest in the Archie comics' universe (thus the Raph pin on her bag) and on the right is Ray Fillet, an ally of the TMNT in the Archie universe.

I could be wrong, but Ray's not JUST from the comic. I thought it was in one brief episode of the 80s show... Maybe my mind's muddled on that. I know I've got a set of four short books that had his origin in it (which honestly was my favourite). I'm kind of sad I missed out on the comics.. I always had in my mind Ninjara was a lizard for some reason. o_O
.... Makes me want to bust out my old toys now. Ray's figure was awesome xD
