Uh, apparently I never posted this here. On my Tumblr, I've been revisiting this drawing once a year just to check up on my progress with learning facial structure. The difference is more subtle than with my Tigrin drawings I guess.Dover's probably the easiest to work with because there are a number of celebrities who look similar to how I picture him... this year I found out there's a character on Game of Thrones that looks really similar, so I think that crept in a lot this time, haha.

It is true that Jenna and I met through Treasure Planet fanart, I think, almost forgot about that... but I'm not sure if I'd say it made DeviantArt... I think sad pictures of bleeding animals and glowy things were what made DeviantArt back then.

Haha... when I joined DeviantArt, everything was about fractals for some reason? XD But I remember the days when anything Jennadelle posted would rocket to the top of the daily top favorites.

hm, i'm not sure ... i feel like the dip (cupid's bow it's called?) is too pronounced maybe? Like he's wearing lipstick. If i squint a little he looks more like a dude >.> ... Maybe it is just the coloring ... or maybe i'm just crazy ...

Yeah I used to be kind of a stickler about not using any sort of reference, but now it just makes sense that if you need to know how to draw an ear, you should actually look at a real one first...

Yeah, back when I was like 11 or something, I used to think I was the absolute bomb at drawing. My gran gave me this "How to draw" book that spoke about using simple shapes like lines and circles and crap for base figures and I always used to say "Man, I don't need to draw shapes, that's for people who don't know how to draw."
Wow, how wrong I was, ha! Can't draw these days without using shapes first.
But yeah, pictures seem to come up much nicer in general when you use references

Yeah using shape guides to draw was one of the first things I learned and I NEVER LOOKED BACK. :T Can't imagine how people draw without them?

He's really.. Well he tends to always speak in an almost errily calm voice and doesn't ever seem to freak out and show anger, he also seems condescending at times

You definitely should! It starts off a little slow with the first couple of episodes but it's definitely my favorite TV series.

I've generally avoided it because I'm not all that in to shows with a lot of graphic violence or sex (especially the second one) and I've heard Game of Thrones has both in spades. Actually this has caused me to avoid a number of TV shows and films I wish I could see. :T

Ah, yeahh. Honestly I think 90 percent of those sex scenes can be skipped, because from what I've seen nothing significant ever really comes from them Lol.
Sadly violence does play a big and important role though
