oh shoot I think I still have papyrus scrolls that are long overdue here beautiful shot and place til til, ya know this is where I get jealous of yous in Europe cause you're close to so very many beautiful ruins, in Europe itself and Mediterranian rim and the middle east, over here in the states we the ruins of pueblo Indians carved homes, that's about it , central America has some ruins of the Mayans and Aztecs and the Inca's in South America but they are nowhere near as fabulous as Egyptian roman greek ruins, I did see the Aztec ruins many moons ago when my high school Spanish class went to Mexico during summer break ...shoot the oldest city the states is Saint Augustine Florida founded in 1565 we have not been here that long haha , please stay safe dear friend

ah yes medieval and the renaissance are 2 of my favorite times to study along with the days of Mesopotamia thru to the greeks states, Hellenistic wars up to and including the roman empire haha simply put I guess I should just say the birth and growth of western civilization
yes, thanks to one of our greatest presidents Theodore Roosevelt who pushed to set aside millions of acres of clean pristine land to be turned into national parks, he was an avid outdoorsman who saw with his own eye just how much the land, nature and the forest wildlife was being raped and destroyed by greedy merchants ...if it were not for him many of the awesome parks we have here would most likely not exist at least as we know them
stay my safe dear friend

I agree tho teddy created the national conservation service was also an avid hunter who shot many a creature but it was on these adventures that he saw the land he wished to preserve ..well he was a man of the late 1800s hah, at the time of his presidency America was growing into an industrial power and just kicked the crap out of Spain in a few days, at the time Spain was still considered a world power and most of the old world Europe still considered the united states an upstart country were shocked, so president Roosevelt had the navy paint our new steel battleships white and sent them around the world so as to put the world on notice that we upstarts had a powerful all-steel navy that rivaled all of the Europeans navies except maybe Englands who still had the largest at the time, it was called the white fleet, the president's enemies at home condemned his gunboat diplomacy, but teddy always said "walk softly but carry a big stick" lol ... forgive me TIL Til I just cannot stop playing the role of history teacher haha ,be safe my dear friend u
